The challenge lasts for two weeks so there's plenty of time to get your entries in. They also sell ribbon kits of which there is a new one every month, their shop can be found at http://www.raspberry-ribbons.com/. I have all six of their kits and they are gorgeous, trouble is I've only used a few of the ribbons because they are too lovely and they come so prettily packaged, I always feel it's a shame to open them! So you know what to do, make your card submit it to the website (not the shop) ,post it on your blog along with a link to the challenge and you could be on your way to possessing some GORGEOUS ribbons and some embellishments. So here's my entry...
I turned the sketch round for my entry, just to be different and from the base up here's what I used:
1. Stardream bronze pearlescent card
2. Base DP (not that you can see much of it) is from Artylicous Seasons Greetings CDRom, which as usual I changed the colour of to suit my needs.
3. Top DP is one I made myself with some snowflake pictures "borrowed" from Google and added some dots to fill in the gaps and printed both DP's on pearlescent white paper.
4. The main image you may recognise, it's"Santa Collage" from Rubber Stampede. You probably think it doesn't look like a stamped image and you'd be right. I did stamp the image but decided it was way to small for what I wanted, so I scanned the back of the stamp, blew it up and softened the colour. And here's the stamp just to prove I didn't "borrow" the image.
This was then mounted on to gold Mirri card and mounted onto the DP with foam pads.
5. The snowflakes were made with a BossKut die, then placed in a Cuttlebug embossing folder as I thought they looked a bit flat. These were mounted onto some plastic goldy flowers I found in my stash, and then some gold star gems on top.
6. The sentiment is computer generated and stuck on with foam pads. And of course some gold organza ribbon.

Nice simple card to do. The longest part was getting the colouring right on the computer for the DP's, but once that was sorted the rest came together nicely.
Hope you like the card and thank you for taking the time to have a look.
Take care, keep smiling and get your winter woolies out! brrrr
