Dior 18th Birthday Card

I don't make cards normally for people who ask as it's just a hobby but I had an email from a lady who's grandson celebrates his 18th in July and like my son is a Dior fan. Well as you can't get fashion house cards in the shops and I enjoyed making the Dior card for my son I said OK ...

Unicorn Birthday Card For My Niece

It's my niece Pippa's 8th birthday on the 1st of April, and at the moment finds toilet humour extremely funny so I made a card that had that. I apologise in advance for the poem, I made it up and as you can see I'm not very good at it but I think my niece will like it....

All images were sourced from the internet and coloured in using Derwents coloursoft pencils and sansador and the flowers were coloured with Tim Holt distress inkpads and distress markers. The next photos show the rest of the stuff I used to make the card.

Thanks for looking and take care and keep smiling.

Peaky Blinders Birthday Card

It's my friend Val's birthday and she very much likes the TV series Peaky Blinders or should I say she very much likes the leading man. Again it's not something I watch but after some searching on Google about it I think I may have managed to make a card that captures the program...

Apart from the obvious it's all computer generated with images not of my making so I take no credit for them. The backing paper was an image I found printed it in black and white and then used Tim Holtz's distress inks to add colour. Oh and the circle on the front of the box is from Tonic Studios.

Van Gogh Birthday card - for my son

A birthday card for my son. He said he liked it, but it was not what he was expecting. Well I said I do like to be different :)

I love the front picture of Van Gogh and the cat by Frank R Sofo and my son and his wife LOVE cats, so it had to be done.

All pictures were sourced from the web and apart from the sky/blue background (coloured on the computer) the front picture and insert pictures were coloured with Derwent coloursoft pencils and hightlighted with Wink of Stellar clear glitter pen (doesn't photograph well). The backing paper is Kaisercraft - Fairy Dust collection - Dew drops.
