The Alien films are my sons favourite, whereas I have always thought Predator the best looking alien, and the picture on the front reminds me of Alex and his best friend Luke when they used to spend hours upstairs playing Xbox games ...
The card and box graphics are all computer generated from pictures sourced from the web.

Birthday card for my Son - Christian Dior - Birthday card for a man
My son collects Christian Dior ties and accessories, so this card was made with this passion of his in mind and it also reflects where he lives ...
BOX - The Dior name and bee are Dior logo's and were sourced from the internet, printed off, traced and then hand cut. The "Homme" backing paper was computer generated.
FRONT OF CARD - The London background was sourced from the internet and printed off. The Dior name was printed onto acetate and mounted on white card. The tie and tie pin are handmade. The man was a picture of a model that again was printed off, traced 'round and then coloured in using a black marker pen.
INSIDE CARD - Computer generated and the word style was gone over with an Atyou glitter pen and the gone over several times with a glaze pen.
Here are some of the pictures that inspired this card, I've also added the man silhouette as that was made by me and does not have a copyright.

Birthday card for my son - Fable the game
Here's another card I found on my card disk that got overlooked, it's a card I made for my son's birthday about 7 years ago, again not the best of cards but again I enjoyed making it. The characters are from a game he liked to play called Fable, I also made him a Christmas card from the same game, that one however did make it onto my blog !!! ...

21st Birthday Pirate Ship Card - For my Son
It was my Son Alexander' 21st birthday back in September, but he didn't get to see his card until Christmas Day !!! But as they say "Better late than never" :oD
I used a template I bought from Sandra's Scrapshop, I modified it a bit, but then that's me, I can't help messing :o)
All of the ship is made with very thick card, and all the "wood" was made with Alota rubber stamps "Fence"
stamp. coloured in with my trusty Derwent coloursoft pencils and the planks were cut and stuck on staggered. The front and the back of the ship and the crows nest are not included with the template, they are of my own design.
The sails and flags are made from printable cotton, the 21 was hand embroidered and the flags were printed on. If your wondering what the flags mean, (the blue with white spot and red spot) they are the international maritime signs for 2 and 1. The canons were made from brads, the anchors were a pair of earrings, hte wheel was bought from a modeler and the rest were from broken bits of jewellery I found. The Waves were sourced from the internet traced over with a waterproof pen and the coloured with Derwents. I think that about covers it, without getting too boring. Have a great new year and Take care & keep smiling :o)
PS. The inside of the ship was filled with 21 shiny new £1 coins.
