Coco Chanel Fashion Birthday card

Well I've done Dior and Vivienne Westwood (Phoebe's Moomin card) so I thought Chanel should be next :) This is for my friend Andrea.

 Paper used is Luxe Classic Black - Fresh Cut Grass
 All the Chanel graphics were sourced from the web and were gone over with glitter pens and clear glaze pen.

Art Nouveau Cat Birthday card

I've decided Art Deco is too hard to do, so I went for an Art Nouveau(ish) design instead (plus it's my favourite of the two designs).

Rupert Bear Birthday Card

The trouble with doing MDF kits is getting my brain back into card making, and try as I might I kept thinking about Rupert the Bear, so my Dad has ANOTHER Rupert card to add to his collection !!!

Everything is computer generated, including the yellow check that took me two days to do because I kept messing with it.

Magnolia Tilda in the garden.

My friend Val has just finished her Chemo Therapy treatment and is now awaiting her radio therepy for breast cancer. The cancer is gone (lump rmoved and it hadn't spread to her lymph node) but the treatments are to reduce the risk of it coming back....

I made this for my son after he asked me to make something for his "man cave" to keep his vape things in. Went a bit off beat and used tarot/playing cards to decorate it. I personally like the art work on the Rider Waite deck, but thought the colours might be a bit gaudy for my son, so I went on the hunt and found these lovely black and white cards. And just in case you're wondering, NO we are NOT satanists, and all those flatback pearls were individually stuck on, definitly a labour of love :) ...

Image in the Cabouchon was printed from the computer and is the Hermit from the Led Zepplin album The Four Symbols.
The quotes inside the "gates" were suggested by my Dad, from Dante's Devine Comedy which he read many years ago but still remembered there were some beautiful quotes to be had from there. So I had a look and decided to do the black gate as the descent into darkness and the white gate the ascent back into the light ...
