Engagement Card or book - For my son Alex and Phoebe

(name) and (name)
Sitting in a tree,
K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
First comes love,
Then comes marriage,
Then comes baby
in a baby carriage.

This is the poem\song that inspired this card. I did intend just to make a simple open and shut card with my revised poem inside, but I started thinking and it kind of ran away with me. I had just got my Tim Holtz "Crazy Bird" rubber stamps (where I got the opening line for the revised poem) and thought it would be fun to use them for this card...
If you want any details about stamps, dies, etc please feel free to email me for details.
Thank you for looking, and take care & keep smiling.

Wedding Book Card

I don't make cards to sell, but now and again I will make a special card if asked for by a friend. And every time I say that's the last one, which is what I said about the hippy card, but I got asked again, so here it is ...
Hand cut filigree

Paper - K & Company - Classic Bailey, Stripes, Ivory small floral, apart from the spine which was piece of paper I found in my "scrap" box.
Heart dies - Spellbinders Nestabilities. Filigree was hand cut, the pattern sourced from the internet.
Clasp - Tim Holtz Grunge paper inked with his Antique linen ink pad, hand stitched. The clasp is a Cameo button (shank removed) with Basic Grey magnetic snaps.
Sentiments - front and inside of card were computer generated, with a lace background sourced from the internet and printed on hessian textured card.
Wedding photos - sourced form Pinterest, and printed on pearl finished photo paper.

Thank you for looking. Take care & Keep smiling

Steampunk 21st Birthday Book Card

It's been a long time since my last posting, but I have been crafting, just haven't got around to posting the pictures !!! But here's my latest offering, a 21st birthday book card my friend asked me to make for her daughter. And it's Steampunk, I've only just discovered it, and I love it ...
The Steampunk girl inside the card is a digi stamp by Kenny K - Lady Victoria, I printed this out in a pale grey colour and went over it with a waterproof pen and then coloured with Derwents Coloursoft pencils, Sasodor and Sakura gel pens. The paper is by Prima - "Engineer" and "Draftsman".The tutorial for the book card was from McMahon, though I did change the sizes as the sizes given were too small as I wanted an A5 size book.
Take care and keep smiling :o)

A Fairy Tale Wedding

Here's a wedding card I made last month but couldn't post until the big day was over.

I used a combination of Whiff of Joy, Magnolia and Paper Artsy rubber stamps to create the images, and the papers are from DCWV Once Upon A Time Matt Stack. The size of the card is 6.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Way too many details to go into but if you want to know anything just drop me a line.
Thank you for looking and take care & keep smiling :o)
