Peaky Blinders Birthday Card
It's my friend Val's birthday and she very much likes the TV series Peaky Blinders or should I say she very much likes the leading man. Again it's not something I watch but after some searching on Google about it I think I may have managed to make a card that captures the program...
Apart from the obvious it's all computer generated with images not of my making so I take no credit for them. The backing paper was an image I found printed it in black and white and then used Tim Holtz's distress inks to add colour. Oh and the circle on the front of the box is from Tonic Studios.

Art Deco 30th Birthday Card
I remember saying once that Art Deco was too hard to do but now I've got used to it. I've found that the simpler it is the better it looks :)
The glitter card I got from Laura-Lea on eBay
The silver embossed card, blue silk card and black satin mirri card (used on the cutout figure, yes the figure is all hand cut) and the die for the "30" from Tonic Studios.
The number 30 on the front of the card was hand cut.
Here are the original pictures that inspired the card

Templates for Art Deco 30th Birthday Card
Just in case you would like to have a go at making a card like mine here are the templates I made for it
first the templates for the main body of the card
and if you don't want to layer here is the full template
these following templates are for the card
Hopefully these should all print out at the same size giving you a fully assembled card that is 16.5cm tall by 14.4cm in width.
I recommend you print out a trial set of templates first to make sure they are all correct if you find any mistakes or I've left something out email me at eviledna1964@outlook.com and I'll put it right.

Because - Thank you card
Made this card for my friend of 44 years Tracey ...
The card was inspired by a picture I found and can be found here on Pinterest. The picture was printed on to virtually shed-less glitter paper and cut out and mounted onto silver satin mirri card. The text has been gone over with black Zig Wink of Stella glitter brush pen.
Take care and keep smiling :)

Fathers Day 2019 - The Last one
On the 1st June 2019 my Dad passed away. He died very peacefully at home exactly where he wanted to be, with myself, my son Alex, and my brother Stuart with him.
I had started this card back in March when he was taken into hospital. I thought I can get this done while he's in here, but as time went on (he was in for 5 weeks and had 13 bags of blood) it was clear his time was coming to an end. So the card was forgotten as I spent more time at the hospital and then taking care of him when we got him home, but when he died I was determined to make this one last card for my Dad for one last Fathers Day...

Thank you card for my daughter-in-law
My Dad is very ill and can no longer use the stairs, and so can't get to his bedroom anymore (he has a bed downstairs now). And his old room had become a bit of a dumping ground for the 2 walkers, wheelchair and other aides he can no longer use. So anyhoo my son and daughter in law came to visit and Phoebe decided she wanted to clean up my Dads old room, she spent about 3 hours sorting tidying dusting and vacuuming and now it looks lovely and fit for purpose. And so I made a thank you card ...
