I knew I wanted to attempt another Steam Punk card and thought it would be great for Father's Day, but as usual I wanted something a bit different, and thought I'd have a go at an exploding box, as I'd never made one before. Loved making it, so much so I will definitely be making one again....
Satin Mirri card - pewter and copper
Embossing Folders - Cuttlebug- Diamond Plate and Clockworks.
Wooden Airplane and cogs are from Cog 'O' Two
Silhouette was hand cut from a picture sourced from the internet.
Papers are from - Prima Marketing Craftsman Collection "Mechanic" and Basic Grey Sugar Rush Collection. (The basic Grey paper was stamped by me)
And instead of a poem or such as a sentiment, I used the memories I have of my Dad when I was a child.

Wedding Book Card
I don't make cards to sell, but now and again I will make a special card if asked for by a friend. And every time I say that's the last one, which is what I said about the hippy card, but I got asked again, so here it is ...
Paper - K & Company - Classic Bailey, Stripes, Ivory small floral, apart from the spine which was piece of paper I found in my "scrap" box.
Heart dies - Spellbinders Nestabilities. Filigree was hand cut, the pattern sourced from the internet.
Clasp - Tim Holtz Grunge paper inked with his Antique linen ink pad, hand stitched. The clasp is a Cameo button (shank removed) with Basic Grey magnetic snaps.
Sentiments - front and inside of card were computer generated, with a lace background sourced from the internet and printed on hessian textured card.
Wedding photos - sourced form Pinterest, and printed on pearl finished photo paper.
Thank you for looking. Take care & Keep smiling

Hippie 65th Birthday Card
I keep saying I'm not doing any more commissioned cards, but here I am again this time for a lady at work, her husband will be 65. I will only really make a card if it is specific to them (their personality, likes etc.), so when she told me he embraced the 60's with a passion and was about to relive his youth by buying a VW camper van, how could I resist ...
The template for the 65 / ban the bomb sign on the front of the card was designed and hand cut by me, the rest of the images were sourced from the internet and were listed as royalty free. I printed them off, tracedthem and transferred them to card and went over them with a Kuretake waterproof pen and then were coloured with Coloursoft pencils, sansodor, Steadtler felt tip pens and Atyou glitter pens. The flowers were made using EK success punches. The stars and circles are Nestabilities and Grand Nestabilities. All the backing papers are Basic Grey.

T'was the night before Christmas card for my Son
Here is the card I made for my son and his girlfriend. I'd had the idea for this card last year but didn't get around to making it, I'm glad I waited as they now have a kitten called Fig, and I coloured the kitten in the House Mouse stamp the same as their kitten ...
This just might be the first card I've made that actually turned out better than I expected. Hope you liked it too :o)

Birthday card for my son - Fable the game
Here's another card I found on my card disk that got overlooked, it's a card I made for my son's birthday about 7 years ago, again not the best of cards but again I enjoyed making it. The characters are from a game he liked to play called Fable, I also made him a Christmas card from the same game, that one however did make it onto my blog !!! ...

Oriental Birthday card for my Dad
I was looking through a disk I have with all the photo's of my cards that I have made over the years and I found this one I made for my Dad, that somehow didn't make it onto my blog. It's not the best of cards, but I remember I enjoyed making it ...
All the pictures were printed on silk and all the texts were printed on fibrous paper. The pink cherry blossoms in the bottom picture I "embroidered", I use the term loosely as sewing is not my forte. And if I remember correctly the pictures in the top two photo's are from a Joanna Sheen disc.
