How I Got My Name - Eviledna

Hello to all my international visitors,
I've been watching my Feedjit with great interest, it looks like most of my international visitors are hitting my blog thinking I'm into the spells, magic and potions stuff, ooops, WRONG.
Well just to set the record straight many years ago when I was in my early teens there was a children's program on called Willow the Wisp (click here to find out more), and in it was a witch called Evil Edna and my friend started calling me that name. So when I started using the Internet and needed an alias, that's the name I chose. And my email name badjelly is also a witch, taken from the children's book called Badjelly the Witch by the late great Spike Milligan. And the name of my blog is a play on words, witch and which, as one day I may make something other than cards.
My nickname at school, which I was called constantly (in fact for four years I was never called by my real name) was Smurf, remember them, the little blue elfy looking things. NO, I'm not blue, just a little vertically challenged, 5 foot/1.5mtrs to be exact. So, there's the reason behind my names, nothing sinister, (though witches weren't evil just the originators of today's alternative medicines) just a little fun, some people like fairies, I like witches, I think they're cool.
Take care, keep smiling and bonne nuit

Wow Ann,
I couldn't stop laughing when I was reading your post! I saw all those visitors craving for potions, spells and black magic! Instead they get house mice and Tilda's, roflol!
You made me think of my mom; she's only 1m53 but never goes unnoticed( she's a retired teacher, which explains a lot). I always tell everyone that you may not see here, but definitely can hear here!
And yes: I do believe witches are the coolest (next to cats) creatures ever (if only people could appreciate us more) :-)))
Bonne nuit! A bientôt.
Els
